Let a local moroccan pastry expert walk you thru the exotic wonders of home made sweets such as Halwa Chebakia (sesame cookies with honey), a speciality usually served at Ramadan or on special occasions. Learn to make Briwat or almond pastry so popular amongst families. This thin almost vermicelli-like pastry shell is filled with a nut paste made from almonds or pistachio and then soaked in honey. You will also love the more simple moroccan sweet fried pastry or moroccan style baklava. But leave some room for the chefs famous Kaab el Ghazal or gazelle horns, a fine crescent- shaped cookie scented with orange flower water enclosing a delicate almond paste and then baked until barely golden. 

Once all these pastries have been baked, you can enjoy them near the fireplace with fresh mint tea picked from our garden.
